Conversion success is vital to your internet business success.
Here are 7 conversion secrets you should be using in your own business today.
1. Place a phone number on your sales page.
It sounds counter intuitive I know.
Why would you bother using a phone number as an order option when they are ordering online?
But a certain percentage of people just prefer to order by phone.
So make sure you incorporate a number in the order process if they want to use it.
2. Use video in your sales material.
This will let potential customers hear your voice and connect with you in a more profound way before they commit to buy.
3. Use pop ups in your sales pages.
This is exceptionally effective, and will grab you some of the visitors who were leaving your sales page, and give you a second chance to sell to them.
Either by giving them a small discount on the product or an extra bonus to persuade the undecided to buy.
If they still say no, give them a valuable free bonus to at least retain them as an email subscriber.
Lets not forget, they are not a buyer, but they are still more valuable than a “freebie seeker”.
Another area in your sales process you could and should use a pop up is on the order form, where the person has clicked the buy link and gone to the order page, but then for whatever reason decided not to go through with the purchase.
Put a pop up here to try and change their mind. I have rarely seen this technique used and its another opportunity to attempt a sale.
4. Webinars.
If you include a webinar in your sales sequence it will dramatically increase your profits.
This is because it speaks directly to people in real time and if the Webinar event is live, it has interactivity, which attendees really respond to.

5. Use a series of emails with a special price attached. Invented by Frank Kern, which he called the ” Day Cash Machine”.
Simple but very effective.
It’s actually unavailable now, but here’s what it is in a nutshell.
You send 4 identical emails (except change the first line or two) one after the other.
The first one says something along the lines of 50% off your product, plus 2 or 3 bonuses which usually do not come with the product.
The second one says only two days to go, get in nowbefore its too late.
The third one says, only 2 days to go, get in before you miss out.
The last one says, final day, act now before you miss out.
When I first heard about this and saw the emails that went with it I was incredulous.
How the heck can this work? Its so simple and seems pretty spammy. But the amazing thing is, it does work.
Try it and you’ll discover this.
One diabolical twist you can use with this method. Send the entire 4 days again immediately after the first, but this time make it a $1 trial instead of the buyer having to pay the full 50% cost.
They still get it for 50% off, but they only pay $1 initially to get it.
It works, try it.
6. Charge two payments of your product price instead of one.
So, say you charge $47 for your product, change that to 2 payments of $47.
To my and your surprise you will find your profit will be 40%-60% more than if you’d just charge the one payment of $47.
Yes, some who would have bought at one payment of $47 will reject it, but its nowhere 50% that you might expect, therefore making it highly profitable.
7. Last, but not least, is you should have several upsells and downsells.
If you have just the one product and nothing to offer after a person buys you are missing out on a ton of profit.
So always include upsells and downsells in your sales funnel.
