Multiple Web Incomes

NICHES EVERYWHERE!

This is personally one my favorite ways to make money online. Obscure 'lil niches that produce autopilot cash. Nothing else quite like it.

You may or may not have heard bout niches being the next 'big thang'. I don't know bout you, but to me niches will always be around. Always there to sell product to not all niches of course. A niche like say, 'How To Toe Suck To Drive Your Woman Wild', might not sell be the best niche to sell to! Then again, I'm not so sure how big toe sucking is with the general public, but I think you get what I mean;)

Whereas something like say, Scrapbooking, would be a great niche. Its actually becoming mainstream now. I turned on the boobtube the other night, and saw an infomerical selling a Scrapbooking product! When they are selling a product on tv, you know its pretty big. A year ago I hadn't even considered scrapbooking as an important niche. Then I heard a few things bout it. Now its mainstream. Thats the best niche of all; catching a niche early as its still growing in popularity. Yoy can then create products for it and ride the wave! Not as easy as it sounds, I know. Like all things in life, sometimes you hit the ball out the park. Those are the best times of all:) But often it'll only be a moderate success. Those moderate successes can really add up however! And then there are those that crash and burn, but lets not mention them;)

Importantly, the niches needs to be one where the people in it feel passionately about it, and have the nmoney to spend. After all, you want them to have the ability to buy your products right?

So how do u find a good niche? Its not so difficult really; just takes a little time.

Go to ur local newsagent. Look through all the magazines. If a magazine is being published on a niche, you can bet there is money being spent there. Check out to see if there are any conventions on unusual topics. Search for any clubs on unusual topics.

To see if ppl search for the topic online go to: http://inventory.overture.com. It will give you the amount of times the term was searched for. And more important, a list of any sub groups. Try it. You'll find it fascinating I assure you;) Any with at least several 1000 searches a month is a suitable-sized niche.

From there, you can either use adsense, or sell a product.

Next you need to find out what this niche wants and what this niche is. Research and ask. In magazines and forums. Chatrooms. Use the 'Alexa Toolbar', which u can get here: http://download.alexa.com/index.cgi to see related sites. (the Alexa Toolbar has a Google search window, so you don't need to open a new window). Refine the search even more. A 'sub-sub niche', if you will.

How to ask? Put up a landing page. Use a service like Aweber (which i think is the best), where you can create customized survey forms, which is also an Autoresponder. Here is where you can get it: www.aweber.com (An Autoresponder lets people subscribe to your newsletter when they imput their name, email address, etc into a form and you can send them information) . Offer to give people who respond a free copy of the project when completed. Whether it be an ebook or software. or a video tutorial. Or anything else you can think of for product creation. If its for adsense, then compile the information into an ebook just for them, and put the info on your sites for the adsense income.

Now drive traffic to the page. PPC (Pay Per Click) like 'Adwords' is the most effective. It costs though. Very fast and targeted however. If you want to learn more bout PPC and adwords, go to the link on my site bout PPC. Alternatively, you could contact list owners in the niche and offer to give them your completed project in return for a survey of their list. That way, he or she wins and so does their list, because any survey participant also gets the item.

Either way, you are surveying to find out what they want. Ask them what is their biggest 'question' on the topic. That in turn tells you what the market is looking for in a product.

And gives you "paths of research". In other words, where to look to research and what to get from that research. Alternatively, you could hire a so-called 'ghost writer' to do the grunt work for you, after supplying the information gleaned from the survey. Careful who you do business with however; he could rip off your research.

Or another idea is to interview experts in whatever niche you have chosen and create an audio product on CD. Or combine that with screen capture video. Video is being touted as 'the thing' for 2006. Camtasia is the best.

Camtasia captures what is happening on your computer screen, including mouse clicks and drop-down menus. Its great for showing people almost anything you can do on a computer. Here's where to get it: http://www.techsmith.com.

Another way to sell the product, apart from using PPC and your contacts with lists, is to recruit affliates for your product. Get your own sales force, who will sell for you for no cost to you! Its probably the most powerful way to sell online. More about affiliate marketing is listed on the main menu.

A good niche with a quality unique product is an auto pilot money machine. Its not an easy thing, but the mechanics of it are simple. Follow the steps and if you do it properly, you will succeed. Patience. Experience, Knowledge are the keys.

One great tip: Watch what other people are doing. The emails they send. The promotions they are doing, how they are doing them. You can learn a lot from successsful people and what they do online.
